Local Storage Only
Highlight Saver Pro stores all user data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage APIs. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers.

Information Stored Locally
The extension stores the following information locally on your device:

• Text you highlight and choose to save

• URLs and titles of webpages where highlights were saved

• Date and time when highlights were created

• Categories you create to organize your highlights

• Extension settings and preferences

Your data never leaves your browser. The extension does not:

• Send data to external servers

• Use analytics or tracking tools

• Share information with third parties

• Require account creation or authentication

Permissions Required
Highlight Saver Pro requires the following browser permissions to function:

• contextMenus: To create the right-click menu for saving highlights

• storage: To save your highlights and settings locally on your device

• downloads: To enable CSV export functionality when requested

• tabs: To access the URL and title of the current webpage

• activeTab: To access the content of the active tab when saving highlights​

Data Export
You can export your saved highlights as a CSV file using the "Download CSV" button in the extension. This action only creates a file on your local device and does not transmit data externally.

Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete individual highlights or clear all data at any time through the extension interface. All your data is stored locally and remains under your complete control.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Chrome Web Store and updating the "Last Updated" date.
